Luminous Oscillations

Greg is an Electro-Acoustic Composer, which means he works in a kind of hybrid format that makes use of live or captured audio by rearranging it through the use of algorithmic visual programming. I met Greg when he was pursuing his PhD in Composition at the University of North Texas where I live in Denton. His approach regarding the fusion of analog and digital ways of creating art fit perfectly with my own research interests, and we began to look for ways to work together. The project documented below was our most ambitious collaboration, which we installed at Living Arts in Tulsa in 2010.
